Learn more about the dynamic and enthusiastic Sarah W. below:

Q: What brought you to Kitchen & Company?
A: When I applied to Kitchen & Company in Asheville NC, I was looking for a company that offered a solid foundation for me to grow. The store manager showed me that Kitchen & Company was what I was looking for. I have been with the company for 3 1/2 years. I started in September of 2013 as a Web Store Associate and now I hold several titles: Assistant Store Manager, Receiving Manager, and Web Store Manager.

Q: What is your favorite food to cook?
A: I graduated as a pastry chef, so I prefer to bake. My husband does most of the cooking in our home. If I need to cook, you are getting a delicious breaded cube steak with mashed potatoes and sweet corn. Or I can do a really good bowl of chili. My favorite thing to bake would have to be any type of crusty bread – country or french bread, baguettes, etc.

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?
A: I have a fat kid deep down living inside me so if I had my way (and the metabolism of a twenty year old), it would be BBQ pork ribs and chocolate truffles all day, every day.

Q: What is a fun fact no one would typically know about you?
A; I named my cat after the one & only video game that I used to love to play: PlayStation’s “God of War.” The main character’s name was Kratos, God of War. So my cat’s name is Kratos, Kitty of War. Believe me, the name fits him.

Q: If you could have any person over for dinner, who would it be and what would you cook for them?
A: Hands down, the musician Maynard James Keenan. My husband would be grilling the finest cut of steak with honey roasted red skin potatoes, and baked asparagus all done on my Kamado Joe. I would bake some yummy dinner rolls.
